I applaud you on your amazing capacity to inspire both fear and sympathy in your readers. Frankenstein has haunted the thoughts and conversations of many of my close companions as well as myself. When I speculate upon the characters, I am torn and cannot firmly decide who is to be condemned and who is to be sympathized with. How disturbing it is to consider the potent dangers of science, which so far has only benefitted Great Britain. Is then this exciting and prosperous time, which was stimulated by the discoveries of science, only going to produce materials and knowledge that will be utilized in a most destructive manner in the future? The questions you imply are of a most serious consquence.

Dear Shelley,
Your Frankenstein novel is absolutely breath-taking. The story was a mind-blogging twister, making me ponder about the good and evils of science. Being a scientist myself, it was interesting to see how Victor behaves and the role of science verses nature. The book was written with great skill and by far, one of the most amazing piece of literature I have touched upon. I would love to hear more about your works, please do keep me updated.

Dear Ms. Shelley,
Your book was a very interesting read. The way you managed to incorporate science into reviving someone was impressive. The creature was one of my favorite characters, for I could relate the life it lived with my ideas. My ideas are Positivism, and in one of the basic laws it states that the rights of a human are more important than any rule that a leader has created. In this case, the creature may have been a peculiar human, but a human nonetheless. However, it was never treated like one, and it was interesting to see how different it was from the laws I created. Of course, this only shows that the ideas I created should be incorporated into real life. In short, your book was fascinating and I feel that it is interesting that my ideas almost seem like a theme to your story.

Sincerely,
Auguste Comte

This book does bring back some memories. I remember the time when you wrote a small section of this for our scare competition and when Percy and I urged you to make your small part into a full novel. Now look! The book is extremely successful and popular and i must say that it brings a very scary mood along with a great science aspect to it. I wish my story was even half as scary as your! I really do wish we had more time together as it was very memorable.
